Beautiful Historic Cottage on Mc Gregor Farm

Kecil Cottage nestles in the tranquil garden on Sempurna Estate, a working fruit farm, 1 km before Mc Gregor. The open plan living area boasts a large fireplace and is the original settlers house dating back to 1861. This self-catering cottage accommodates 4 people in 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and underfloor heating for the winter. A private braai area, 25m indoor heated pool, a single track bike and walking trail or walking through the vines, are part of the farm experience. Kecil Cottage has 2 rooms, a main bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite full bathroom. Just outside that room is a small sleeper couch. The second bedroom with en-suite shower, toilet and basin, has 2 single beds. This room is not inside the main building but across a small courtyard from the kitchen. The enclosed courtyard has a built in braai. The parking on Sempurna Estate is secure, and the farm offers a 11km single track in the surrounding mountains for walkers, trail runners or cyclist. Our 25m indoor heated pool is also there to be enjoyed. If you prefer to relax, we have the fountain garden or you can able through the vines and orchards. The quaint town of Mcgregor is only 1km away so you can enjoy a bit of village life by exploring the various art and craft galleries, coffee shops, and restaurants. Every Saturday morning there is a market selling home made goods. If you are looking to relax there is opportunity for various types of massages. The Vrolikheid nature reserve is not far from Sempurna Estate and boasts abundant bird life. McGregor is famous for the Eseltjiesrus Donkey Sanctuary. The McGregor Winery (which is next to door to Sempurna), Lord’s Winery, Bemind Winery, and Tanagra (famous for its Grappa) all offer wine tasting.
