The Barn - Greyton

The Century old barn is situated in the heart of Greyton, one of the most beautiful villages in South Africa. The cottage is within easy walking distance of all shops, restaurants and the craft beer brewery. There are three supermarkets including an O.K. mini mart that stocks all that you will need. The Barn has one spacious bedroom, with a king size bed, antique wardrobe and dressing table. The quaint Victorian style bathroom has a roll top bath and shower with a selection of bath oil and body washes, including shampoo and conditioner for you to recharge with. The open plan, fully equipped eat in kitchen and large lounge, lead out onto the patio with a swimming pool and undercover braai area overlooking a charming private cottage garden. The garden is for the sole use of the guests and has seating provided for you to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the birds and lovely views. On arrival, you will find the country style kitchen which is stocked with ceylon, rooibos and earl grey tea, filter coffee, instant coffee, sugar, bacon, eggs, cheese, butter, bread, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. Our decadent homemade buttermilk rusks are baked fresh for you. Greyton offers something for everybody. There are stunning mountain biking and hiking trails into the surrounding mountains. Horse riding and tennis courts are right on our doorstep. Bikes can be hired in the village and tennis rackets are available at reception. There is a delightful Saturday local market with delicious fresh homemade produce on offer. For guests staying for 5 days or longer there is a reduction offered in price with laundry and cleaning services available in the week at no extra charge.
