Welcome to Little Barn - your perfect guesthouse in idyllic Faxe. Located close to public transportation, beach, and forest, we welcome you to our Little Barn consisting of a common area with a kitchen, dining- and living room area, as well as two separate apartments, each which have private bathroom facilities and can bed 4 people. This is an ideal guesthouse when visiting Faxe Kalkbrud, Stevns Klint or many of the beautiful beaches in Southern Zealand. Little Barn consists of one common area and two apartments: Common area: Entering Little Barn from the private parking facility you enter the common area, which has a shared dining area, a living room and open kitchen all in one. Here you are free to use the full space and the kitchen is fully equipped with all basics. Beech Apartment: Entering the Beech Apartment you have the first bedroom with two single-beds. This leads to the second bedroom with a queen sized bed and direct access to the private bathroom (shower and toilet). The Beech Apartment has a beautiful view of the horse fields and orangery. We have private parking for guests arriving at the Little Barn by car. Otherwise Faxe Syd Station is only a 5 min walk away where you can catch the local train or busses. We are happy to be at your disposal for guidance with local tourist attractions and offer several fun activities you can enjoy during you stay. This includes rental of bikes, fishing guidance, barbecue facilities, and the potential of arranging horse carriage drives, among other things. There is a possibility to rent a horsebox and paddock if you're coming with a horse. Rental of baby cot with mattress is available at an additional fee. Please write to inquire about this. Close to Little Barn you will find the small town of Faxe. Faxe offers all conveniences you could need, such as gas stations, grocery shopping, bookstore, bakery, take-away, pharmacy, hairdressers etc. 25 mins by car will take you to Næstved, which is a much bigger city with a mall and plenty restaurants, cafes and shopping possibilities. You also have easy access to plenty of the beautiful beaches, the closest simply a 15 mins bike ride or 5 mins by car away. There are also plenty of forests nearby to take long walks in, the closest simply a 15 min walk away. Little Barn is located very practically in terms of reaching some of South Zealand's main tourist attractions including Faxe Kalkbrud, Camp Adventure, Bon Bon Land, Stevns Klint, Møns Klint, Vemmetofte Kloster, Gisselfeld Kloster and much more. The Little Barn is merely a 5 min walk from the local train station (Faxe Syd Station) where the train leaves every 30 mins on weekdays and every hour on weekends. The train connects you to Køge through which you conveniently can reach Copenhagen, Næstved, and Falster from. You can also catch the bus from the train station to reach the town of Faxe which connects with buses to Næstved. Time tables and guidance will be available during your stay. We offer rental of bikes if you wish. Although there are many options for close-by public transportation, it is most convenient to have a car as this will take you swiftly to the many attractions nearby.
