June's Loft is a 900+ sq ft spacious, clean, bright apartment with a king-bed, a full sofa sleeper, a full size inflatable; a full size couch, a desk, 55"TV, kitchen & bath amenities, washer & dryer. Guests have a private outdoor patio (shared-use of a fire pit and gas grill). Our home and attached Loft apartment are located in a quiet neighborhood near downtown Pullman. Guests may walk, bus, or drive to the WSU campus. Your hosts will be accessible to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. With several windows and sky lights, the Loft has plenty of natural light. Want to prepare your own meals? The kitchen has a lot of extras and the table can seat up to 8 for meals or board games! A washer & dryer (and detergent!) are located in the apartment for your convenience. There is a 55" TV, WiFi, and AC. Also on site (but not in the Loft!) is our dog Kona, our cat Pandora, and cockatiel Zazu. Kona wanders our large yard only when we are with her. Pandora the cat is often in the garden or driveway; when the weather is warm, Zazu may be found (in his cage) on the front porch. As guests, you could certainly avoid all three of them ... but know they are on the property. Depending on the time of year, your hosts enjoy sitting on the front porch or relaxing around a bon fire in the front yard. Guests are welcome to share this space or enjoy privacy on the side patio near the door to the Loft. Guests have a private patio just outside their entrance. Shared space could include the bon fire area in the front yard or use of the gas barbecue in the back of the house. Your hosts will be available via text and phone throughout your stay. If you have questions or need something, chances are we can deliver within minutes! That said, we respect your privacy. June's Loft is located on a quiet neighborhood street surrounded by maple and aspen trees. The neighborhood is a mix of residential families and student living. The Loft is one-quarter-mile from Grand Avenue (northern end). Guests may walk 5-10 minutes down hill to the Chipman Trail (a local bike and footpath that weaves through town) or walk 5-10 minutes to Lumberyard Restaurant (for music, drinks, or dining). Cougar Country (famous fries and sauce!) and the local grocery store are within one-half mile. If guests prefer the bus to walking, Pullman Transit has several stops within two blocks of the Loft. Should you prefer to use your own car, the drive to Beasley Coliseum takes seven to ten minutes depending whether or not you hit a green or red light on Grand avenue. Walking to campus is pleasant (your hosts walk to campus often!) but it does require going up-hill both ways (welcome to Pullman!!).
