The Green Acorn Guesthouse lies at the gateway of Lesotho’s primary tourist destinations like the Katse Dam and Oxbow ski resort. But Lesotho is not the only attraction that this region offers the visitor. Just to breathe the unpolluted mountain air makes a visit here worth-while, and to rest and relax in the pub, that is situated on the property, where cosy winter evenings can be savoured around a roaring log-fire, a delicious meal or a choice of fare can be had from the a la carte menu at the Cafe Chocolat restaurant. There is an electronic gate at the entrance of the property. The gate code will be given to you before or upon arrival or the gate will be opened for you by a staff member. Once you have checked in - you will have the code so that you may enter and exit the property as you please by putting the pin into the access keypad at the gate. Ficksburg is a small town and the neighbourhood is extremely safe. This is a little town where you will still see the school children riding on their bikes. The locals are friendly people and we are always willing to help where we can. Our friendly staff make sure that our guests’ stay becomes a memorable experience, leaving with a spring in their step and a song in their heart, to return time and time again to rejuvenate both body and mind.
