The apartment is one of three in a new, purpose built complex above a significant historical building, formerly a department store dating back to the early 20th century. The apartments are modern and luxurious, styled to match the character of the original building, with stylish bathrooms and individual kitchens in each apartment. Each apartment is a self-contained unit with its own access via a unique code-lock on the door. Each apartment is complete with its own bathroom, kitchen and lounge. Your access to the building and your apartment will be via a unique code, which our team will send once you have booked. The apartments are self-catering and there are no staff on-site, however our management team are nearby should you need any assistance. The apartments are located in the heart of Ely, Cambridgeshire on the first floor of a newly renovated and imposing retail premises, originally a department store. The building is within sight of Ely's Market Place, the very centre of the town. Surrounding the building you will find a wealth of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs, plus many visitor attractions including Ely's magnificent cathedral. The area is well connected by train and bus routes and most places and attractions in Ely are within easy walking distance. There are numerous local taxi firms, many of whom offer a fixed tariff for travel within Ely. Public car parks are free in Ely, with long-stay zones - more details can be found on our website and in the Guest Handbook in your apartment. Parking: There is a large public FREE car park behind City Studios, 2 minutes walk around. There are restrictions - one area is free parking all day after 8.30am or the other area is 4 hours; in reality it means if you park there after 2pm you are OK until 12pm next day.
