Welcome to our spacious, dog-friendly* basement apartment! This basement apartment is fully furnished and includes a full kitchen. There is plenty of space here for one person or a whole family to relax! Perfect for a one-night stay or extended stays! This basement apartment is fully furnished for short- or long-term stays. It includes: - Separate entrance through garage - Large master bedroom with two Ashley brand queen beds - Small second bedroom with twin-size bunk bed (also with Ashley mattresses!) - Bathroom entrance is through the master bedroom - Both bedrooms have legal egress windows for safety - Large living room with huge sectional that can comfortably sleep two adults (couch does not have a hide-a-bed, but it is very large and the sections can be moved into the shape of a bed) - Living room has a smart TV and DVD player (with our small collection of DVDs for your use) - Full kitchen with fridge, stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots/pans, dishes, etc. - Laundry area (within kitchen) with washer/dryer with complimentary detergent and dryer sheets - Space heaters located in master bedroom closet (it is a basement, so it gets colder down there) - Free WIFI - Plenty of Off-Street Parking (please feel free to park in the driveway!) - Luxury Vinyl Flooring throughout (no carpet, just rugs) - Dog-friendly (no cats as we are severely allergic). Dogs are strictly not allowed on the furniture (sectional couch in living room or any beds). Dog must be secured in a pen or crate if left unattended in the apartment. We require a $50* security deposit for dogs at the time of booking. This amount will be refunded to responsible dog owners who clean up after their dogs and don't allow them on the furniture. Please inform us in your initial message if you plan to bring a dog so we can send you the applicable charge. * May be more for extended stays - Please note that we do not charge an extra cleaning fee for the use of our apartment. This is not a hotel. We expect our guests to be courteous and responsible and to clean up after themselves. ***Please be aware that we have a baby living in the upstairs unit! She is great and we do our best to be as quiet as possible, but we can't be sure how much you can hear in the basement. *** The front yard and garage are shared spaces with us, but we won't usually be accessing the garage during your stay. The back yard is currently not available to guests. We will give guests as much privacy as they desire. We are a young couple with no kids and we use the upstairs unit of the home as our permanent residence. Our basement apartment is located in a very quiet residential area near the intersection of Blue Lakes and Falls Ave. We are centrally located - just 7 minutes from Downtown Twin Falls, 15 minutes from Shoshone Falls, and 8 minutes from the Twin Falls Visitor Center. We are walking distance from some delicious dining options and a quick drive to even more. There is also a large park with a walking trail just down the street. OUR DOGS: We have two large dogs (110 lbs each) and one small dog. They can be intimidating at first, but are very friendly once they get to know you. They are not allowed downstairs in the basement unit. They live inside our upstairs unit, but you may encounter us with them in the front yard as we are entering or leaving. PET POLICY: We are happy to accept most dog guests if you don’t mind keeping them off the furniture and secured in a crate or pen if left alone. Unfortunately we do not accept cats as we are severely allergic. Our back yard is currently under construction so is off limits to guests.
