Callachally is a 200 year old farmhouse, very well situated to explore Mull, It is a comfortable house full of books and paintings, with a relaxed sitting room with a log fire, a separate TV room. House is next a working farm with sheepdogs. The double room shares a bathroom with the yellow room. It has a lovely view down the lawn infront of the house flanked by old beech and sycamore trees, looking out to an old celtic burial mound, covered in yellow gorse. There is a dinning room for breakfast with tea and a Nespresso machine available whenever. A comfortable sitting room with log fire, and upstairs there is a separate TV room with Sky. I am here to meet you with tea by the fire as long as I have an ETA of your arrival, I will be around to answer questions about Mull and help with booking restaurants, pointing out beaches and walks etc, and most importantly cooking y.ou breakfast, mainly of good local produce The views up the sound of Mull in May and June are wonderful, the sun setting long into the northern light. It has easy accsess to the Magical Isle of Ulva, the picturesque town of Tobermory, beaches galore, there is hill walking on my doorstep, and the changing moods of Mull are outside your window. A major plus is there are lots of good places to eat within a 30 minuet drive. There are not very frequent buses that pass my road end, from the ferries and to Tobermory. but best to come to Mull by car or bicycle, as Mull is a large Island and there is much to explore. Wild life tours, bird watching tours, ocean boat trips, Whales and increasingly Dolphins, giant Basking Sharks, shy Otters, Sea Eagles and Golden Eagles soar.
