Studio Apartment--Cozy Hideaway near M College

This is a charming studio apartment in a separate building over a two car garage. It has one large room that serves as an open space for the bedroom, kitchen and sitting area. There is a separate bathroom with a shower unit. There is a small deck for drinks and or breakfast/lunch overlooking the backyard and trees. This unit was nicknamed the Tree House by many guests over the years. The apartment is a 5 minute walk to Middlebury College and all downtown shops and restaurants. Wonderful for a single person or a couple visiting Middlebury for college functions, seeing friends in the area, hiking, or attending a wedding for a weekend. It has a private entrance and is a quiet cozy space. It has a double bed, lamps, dining table, kitchen with coffee maker, toaster and small refrig. Many American Brew School students use this apartment when they are required to show their magic brewing beer here in Middlebury. This is a complete unit for a stay in Middlebury. The kitchen is available and the deck can be used in 3 seasons, weather permitting. There is a large yard for sitting out. The 2nd floor deck has two chairs and a small cocktail table- it overlooks the yard and the perennial garden. Very private. Sometimes the whole house and this studio apartment might both be rented and if that is the case I will not be available. Usually I will be on the property grounds to help and give guidance as needed. The street has many historic homes and buildings belonging to Middlebury College. The Middlebury College president has her home at 3 South Street. The college track and the TAM (Trail Around Middlebury) are only 2 blocks away. Most people drive to our apartment, but the Link bus from Burlington has a stop 3 blocks away as does the VT Trans Bus. Parking is available for our guests off street, and also on one side of South Street. The apartment is on one of the nicest streets in Middlebury and in the historic district. The neighbors are mainly college and other professionals, who enjoy living in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to everything in Middlebury.
