Standing completely alone in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and on a solid rock foundation within an acre of grounds, this 16th century property commands a wonderful elevated view of the Helford River. It is truly captivating. There are no neighbours or owners so you have your own space and privacy throughout your holiday. The large well maintained and terraced garden wraps the riverside woodland which borders the property on two sides. From the private jetty and foreshore where the boat is moored, guests can fish, go boating, kayak, paddle board, canoe, crab fish and wild swim. The gentle tidal waters ebb and flow bringing a myriad of water birds each time which feed on the mudflats. Whatever the season or weather, the ever-changing landscape is mesmerising, but don't take my word for it, holiday here and see for yourself! There is full central heating by radiators, so it is warm and inviting whatever the weather, with wonderful river, countryside and woodland views from each room. The light and contemporary kitchen/diner offers all the facilities you would expect to find in a holiday cottage with top class white goods and has the bonus of a glorious view of the Mawgan Creek from the kitchen sink and the dining area. With original cob walls, large copper canopied inglenook, the newly carpeted lounge is complemented by a very comfortable and luxury designed sofa with matching armchairs and window seats. At the far end is an open tread wooden staircase with a short wall handrail leading to the landing, children's and master bedroom. The upstairs has polished pitch pine wooden floors with soft long rugs and wonderful views to enjoy. New and situated on the ground floor of the cottage, is the luxury fitted bathroom incorporating an electric shower over a deep bath, toilet, built-in wash hand basin with under floor electric heating. Only a few paces from the front door is the spacious and beautifully presented Garden Room, where a glorious view is yours to wake to.
