We have a shared farm house with rooms for rent. Basic but clean and cozy. We have well water, no chlorine in your shower! This room is private, includes internet access, a shared bathroom and access to a shared kitchen and outdoor facilities. Golden Rocks Permaculture Farm is offering private retreat space or space for group gatherings and workshops. Set on 5 acres, cozy rooms or camping with lots of fun activities: pretty gardens, cob building, camping, hiking, hot springs, winery tours. Located in gorgeous Lake County, Ca, we enjoy the cleanest air in the state of CA year after year, and for the last 3 years running we've been the cleanest air in the entire NATION!!! Which means, probably the most brilliant night skies in the country as well. Excellent water too, with springs everywhere. Great place to rejuvenate the spirit and take in nature. Plenty of outdoors activities: fishing and rowing nearby lakes, hiking, hot springs, waterfalls and wineries! Guests have access to community kitchen and living space, massage table, learning and enjoying bountiful gardens and orchards, herb walks (small fee applies for guided herb walks), wildlife viewing and more! Private camping spots available as well, can accommodate retreats up to 25 people for workshops. Limited: we are a working farm. People are welcome to schedule time with us or participate in farmer's markets, food co-op activities, hands-on gardening, etc. Fantastically private! We live down a country lane with very few neighboring farms. Should have vehicle: no public transportation in this rural area. We can arrange to pick you up from local bus station if you are backpacking in. No fires during the dry season. Otherwise campfires permitted in designated area.
