Only six miles away is the ancient English border town of Oswestry and the Welsh village of Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, home to Pistyll Rhaeadr, the UKs highest single drop waterfall. The whole area is surrounded by countryside, which extends into the Berwyn Mountain Range, perfect for scenic walks and cycle trails, including along the Berwyn Ridge Pathway, the Offas Dyke Path and through the surrounding Tanat and Ceiriog Valleys.
