A recently fitted (2016), one bedroom modern gite on the edge of a small village in the Gers region of south west France. Although the property is set in a very peaceful, relaxing location, surrounded by vineyards, it is only 10 mins drive to the nearest town with shops, bars and restaurants. Spain is 2.5 hours drive away. The Atlantic Coast just under 2 hours. Local airports include: 1.5 hours Toulouse, Easyjet 2.5 hours Bordeaux, Easyjet 1 hour from Lourdes, Ryanair Swimming pool - Solar heated 10 x 5 metres, for exclusive use of gite guests. Wonderful views over rolling countryside with vines and sunflowers with the owners living in the main part of the house Access is one level - no steps - suitable for reduced mobility. Bathroom with Shower, washbasin and toilet. Double bedroom - a baby's travel cot and high chair are also available. Kitchen/ lounge/ diner including gas hob, electric oven, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher. Dining table and chairs. Iron and ironing board plus clothes airer. Comfy sofa, French and English (Sky) Television. WiFi Internet. For a small damage deposit you can borrow a GPS with a stored guide to local restaurants, towns and attractions. Towels for the bathroom and pool are included free of charge, as are bedclothes and tea towels. Non smoking No pets Outside you will have complete access to the gardens and pool where you will find loungers, a gas barbecue, table and chairs and a child's swing. A table tennis table is also available. The welcome pack awaiting you in the kitchen, consists of: Tea, coffee, jams, marmalade, pickles, sugar, butter, eggs, fresh milk, bread and …..a bottle of local wine. The owner is happy to buy other shopping you may require for your arrival, (At additional expense.) The owners are an English couple but French is also spoken.
