The Tithe Barn was originally built by the Prince Bishops of Durham as a retreat. It is located adjacent to a working farm operated by the owners of the premises on the outskirts of the village. The Byre is cosy and tranquil and is the perfect place to recharge your batteries for short or long breaks. It's a great base to explore East Durham and the wider North East regions many attractions.
