Merry Grove - A Relaxing/Game Day Retreat

Perfect for a small group, business or game day space located in the small town of Tallassee. Our little piece of paradise is tranquil and relaxing. Enjoy the woods, bird watching, fishing, kayaking, beautiful sunrise, community hiking trail. Outdoor deck with chairs & eating spaces. Fully equipped kitchen. Continental breakfast items provided. Tuskegee Univ. 30 min north; Auburn Univ. 45 min north; Montgomery 30 min south. Great blend of indoor and outdoor spaces. Inside guests have access to great room, fully equipped kitchen, inside dining. Front porch and outdoor deck feature covered areas with spots for a morning cup of coffee or outside dining! Guest space includes two separate upstairs bedrooms that easily accommodate 4 adults. Additional sleeping space for children. Upstairs bedrooms have private toilet and sink areas with shared shower space. Downstairs master bedroom has 2 queen beds and large private bath. Enjoy all of the home with the exception of garage where we have our private office space. Locks and private entrances ensure privacy and separation of office and guest spaces. We never access guest spaces when we are hosting guests unless we are invited. On occasion, homeowners may be in office area during time of rental. We will meet you and acquaint you with our home or if preferred self check in is available. Happy to make recommendations about the area and surrounding towns or venues. Always happy to assist our guests but we also respect your privacy. We are a retired couple who enjoys sharing our home with others. Our neighbors are great folks who enjoy our quiet and serene community. Our cul de sac provides a great place to walk and the community hiking trail is just a stone's throw away. We have a kayak available for guest use and the fishing is superb! There are a couple of grocery stores in the area and for those that would like to prepare their own meals, we have a completely equipped kitchen. For dining out, there are a couple of restaurants in the area and numerous fast food options. Fine dining is available in Auburn or Montgomery. In the downtown area, our local coffee shop. Restoration 49 is second to none. Also downtown, Grove Station market where guests may purchase gourmet meats and other offerings. The home has one TV in the great room with Roku. Wi-Fi available. Private dock and easy lake access. For fishing please bring your own equipment. Guests are welcome to use our kayak, water toys and life jackets.
