RAVEN ROCK RETREAT- SPECTACULAR WATERFRONT!

Escape from the noise of the city at our home of peace and tranquility. The complete upper floor is yours, you have your own private upper balcony to snuggle under blankets and watch the boats, tugs, sealions and, if you are lucky an orca or two. Be assured we only host one group of guests at a time, so you are our priority for care and safety. Be ready to be greeted with lots of doggie love! We have 2 large dogs, a new puppy and a grumpy cat, who thinks he is a dog. You have a choice of rooms (if there are 3 or more in your party, you get both bedrooms) both are waterfront: The WATER room boasts a super comfy extra thick memory foam queen bed. The EARTH room will center you and revive you, it has both a queen and a single. PLUS you get a huge living space with shelves stuffed with books to read, games to play and a new TV with both CRAVE and NETFLIX, if you can tear yourself away from the water. I love to cook, it is my zen!! I offer locally sourced, vegetarian breakfast, half board and even full board. Message me for details. You are invited to meander through our paradise, stunning gardens (see photos) with trails along the waterfront Northumberland channel. Please note: we are facing Mount Benson and Nanaimo, across the water. so, there are lights at night and our part of the Salish Sea is busy at times with boats and yachts. Private staircase to upper floor. Private deck, bedrooms and large family room with dining area. 7 minutes drive to the ferry. 8 minutes drive to our village which boasts of a couple of great coffee shops, several restaurants, speciality gift stores, a supermarket and several other great stores. Art studios all over Gabriola. Nothing is more than 30 minutes away! If you don’t want to bring your car over on the ferry, we can pick you up. No charge.
