Quietly situated forester's house for 2 families
We love to welcome you in our former spacious forester's house. We are a Dutch family with 3 children who bought the house in 2006 as a family vacation home. With a lot of love and attention we think we have created a unique spot in the quiet forests of the Czech Republic. If you love nature you will feel completely at home. Walking, cycling, mountain biking, you are in the middle of it! In the summer you can enjoy the silence on the veranda and in the winter the cosines by the fireplace. The spacious house is, due to the different living areas, very suitable for occupancy of many people or, for example, 2 families with children. We have paid a lot of attention to the interior design. Also we have done our best to make it a sustainable home. For example, the whole house is heated with geothermal energy. The combination of the peaceful surroundings with the pleasant spaces in the house makes this holiday home an ideal place to relax. You can reach the house by public transport. By taking the train to Furth im Wald or Domazlice and take a taxi from there to the house. Free parking space at the house. Next to the house is a small forest village. Our housekeeper Jaja lives there with her two small daughters and is always happy to help you out when needed. The house is located 9 kilometers from the beautiful picturesque town of Domazlice, 1 hour drive from the city of Pilzen and 2 hours drive from Prague. Because it is so close to the German border, the town of Furth im Wald (15 minutes drive) and the city of Regensburg (about an hour drive), are also worth a visit. In winter you can ski in Germany (a small family slope is half an hour away and the Grosse Arber ski slope is an hour's drive). There is also a beautiful golf club in Furth im Wald. You can reach the house by public transport. By taking the train to Furth im Wald or Domazlice and take a taxi from there to the house.
