The Garden Room @3 The Drive

A quiet garden in a private house recently converted to provide facilities including en-suite bathroom and warm, comfortable accommodation. Wi-Fi, television, DVD, radio, fridge, toaster, kettle and coffee machine provided. Guests have access to the whole Garden Room. If the weather suits a small table and chairs are available in the garden itself. There is also access to a large grassed area to the rear of the property. We will be around most of the time to answer questions or give advice. We have long experience of the hospitality industry having run pub/restaurants for many years. Good local knowledge is available and we are happy to give advice on points of interest. We are a couple of minutes from the A1 trunk road giving easy access both North and South to Morpeth (8 minutes) to main line station, Approximately 15 minutes to Newcastle Airport, 20 minutes to the coast and 25-30 minutes to Newcastle (depending on traffic). Morpeth has an excellent bus service , plenty of parking, good shopping and a main East Coast railway station. From the South take the slip road for Stannington Station, Hepscot and Netherton Park, follow signs on the roundabouts (2) under the A1 and after about quarter of a mile turn right for Netherton Park. Approach the speed bump with care, bear left then immediately right onto Private road The Drive. From the North take slip road for Stannington Station, Hepscot and Bedlington. After approximately one mile turn left for Netherton Park. Guests are advised that there is a good pub/restaurant in Stannington and a very good Indian restaurant at Stannington Station. Both are about a mile from us, though in different directions.
