A quiet place in the country, where you can relax ,roam the grounds, visit the little water fall, bird watch or read. A couch on the screened in porch just off the kitchen is a cool and refreshing place to eat breakfast or take a nap in the afternoon. Cooking is not permitted by guests. There is a microwave, toaster and coffee maker for your convenience. A full country breakfast is provided in the mornings. Minutes from Route 2 and the Orange airport the North Quabbin region offers endless trails to be biked or hiked, as well as some of the best fishing in New England. Relaxing becomes easy here as this area provides opportunities for swimming and kayaking. There are rentals on the river just minutes from the house. If shopping suits you better, a two-minute walk will bring you into downtown Orange and its quaint antique shops, and with a 3/4 hour drive you will find yourself at the Yankee Candle flagship store, the "Scenter of New England". The five-college area of Northampton and Amherst, in the other direction: the famous Bridge of Flowers at Shelburne Falls and Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory are both within an hours travel. This is a ranch house with two bedrooms. One bedroom has twin beds and has a 1/2 bath included in the room. The other bedroom has a double bed and the full bath room is just three steps down the hall. The shower is to be shared. I will welcome you with open arms and leave you to your privacy. A full country breakfast will greet you in the morning. Orange is a great small town community. Our motto is "The Friendly Town". The B&B is in walking distance of the town center but the neighborhood is quite and peaceful. A ten minute walk to town, where you can browse antique shops and a shop that has a variety of sport/gift ideas and has a coffee/lunch area in the back.
