Grandma's Apartment G5 your Home away from Home

We are an Australian family living in beautiful Poland! We welcome you to our Natural & Historic Property. The Heart of Lower Silesia your large private apartment is waiting! We have a small forest, animal farm area, horse riding, archery & carriages. You can have a bonfire/grill, do some cycling, swimming close by. Next to our farm is the forest, a small lake. By car we are 8ks from Gorlitz DE & 10ks to CZ border. 1hr from Dresden, 2hrs from Wroclaw, 2.5hrs to Prague and 3hrs from Berlin. The apartments are spacious and with good sunny light. This apartment in particular we like to call Grandma's as its charming and gives you a familiar feeling...a home away from home. Size approx 72m2 Our property is historical dating to the early 15th century. It is a work in progress rustic with charm . The apartments are large private and quiet they are bright and open. We have a guest vegetable garden you can pick your own veggies! There is a large open lawn you can relax make a grill read a book under the large tree. We hope you will come and see the natural beauty of this farm and area. There are many areas to walk, bike ride and enjoy nature. We also have 4 ha of private park...again a work in progress. We have bikes you can borrow for local trails, you are free to walk around the property and explore, relax in the park, enjoy the garden lawn and bonfire area. The property while being very private is close to the village of Studniska. There 2 close small shops for the basics. The main town Zgorzelec is 6ks away, and only 8ks to Gorlitz on the German side. We run a business from the property and generally are busy with the farm duties and development of the property. However we like to help with general suggestions and information if you need us for your stay. There are many interesting things to see and do in the area from medieval castles to nice coffees on the Neisse river on both the Polish and German sides. There is also kayaking beautiful areas to walk or cycle everything is not to far away. You may like to look at some local arts and crafts or take home some special Polish pottery. The best part is a unique quiet country setting in nature a great central location. There is a small auto bus from Studniska to Zgorzelec. You can catch a train from Zgorzelec to Wroclaw, Gorlitz, Dresden and Berlin of course. We are about 5hrs from Krakow & 6hrs or so from Warsaw, by car. The best way to see the area is by car. Note: Currently horse riding and archery lessons are offered Privately if you wish to book for this it's a good idea to do in advance! Kasia is your instructor, she is very enthusiastic and fun to work with. We have indoor and outdoor arena, possibility depending on your ability to ride out. The horses are Silesian from this region. Transfers: a taxi can be arranged. It is advisable to have your own car. While attractions are close by they are easier to access by your own vehicle.
