With all the bedrooms on the ground floor, this fabulous cottage is practical too. Peacefully situated in a private location, well away from the main coast road, but within a ten minute walk to the beach and only 5 minutes' walk to the renowned Ship hotel/pub/restaurant. Grooms cottage also has lovely fully-enclosed cottage gardens, so perfect for dogs and children and there is garden furniture to relax and enjoy long sunny days and al fresco dining. Grooms Cottage is a delight and has been sensitively refurbished over time to now offer ‘upside down’ living accommodation. Upstairs you'll discover the spacious open-plan living space with an open fire and a very well-equipped kitchen with range oven. The owners of Grooms Cottage are supporters of the RSPB and donate a percentage of each rental to the charity, so make sure you visit the RSPB reserves at nearby Titchwell or Snettisham, where you can explore the reserve and appreciate the fabulous bird and wildlife that frequent the area. With Brancaster Staithe in walking distance you can walk the coast path to buy fresh fish from the harbour where the boats land their catch. If you are a larger group of 12, then consider booking Betty's Cottage too, which also has a fully-enclosed cottage garden, so perfect for dogs and children. The cottages sit just 40ft away from one another, some plenty of privacy yet close enough to enjoy quality time together. Ground Floor: Master bedroom With a king-size bed and quality linens. Outside: Grooms cottage is situated at the end of a long drive off the beach road. The cottage is in a peaceful location with a fully-enclosed private garden stretching the full length of the building and is approximately 100ft. The garden is fenced to the front, the fencing being 3ft high with hedging to the front. The side and rear garden and the cottage are not overlooked. There is a charcoal barbecue and garden furniture. Parking is available for one car, further parking for another car is available on request only, please request this at your time of booking.
