LaHaven Skippers Retreat is a 5 bedroom home overlooking the river. Loft has its own entrance, also accessed from inside and features a soaker tub to sooth you, with a kitchenette. 2nd floor features 4 bedrooms, full bathroom. Famous LaHave Bakery is 5 minutes away. Lunenburg and Mahone Bay have a great choice of restaurants. Lighthouse Trail is famous for art galleries and antiques. Sail aboard Bluenose, whale watching, surfing, golfing are all close by. So much to do, so little time! LaHaven Skippers Retreat is now being offered as a 5 bedroom escape. Loft features Soaker tub which sets the mood for a cozy stay. Open concept with skylights for light airy feel. 2nd floor has 4 bedrooms and full bathroom. Main floor has plenty of seating in different areas. Sunroom is bright and airy. Library is a little retreat. Farmhouse kitchen is a central gathering place perfect for the ubiquitous Nova Scotia Kitchen Party! Full bathroom on every floor makes whole home user friendly! Backyard fire pit, deck and balcony all perfect for happy hour drinks I am available to answer all questions by email, text as I may be in another country which means phone calls would be pricey. I have person close by if there is something needing attending to. If I am home, I am happy to answer questions in person. The location means we are close to LaHave Bakery, 5 min LaHave ferry 5 min Crescent Beach 10 min Bridgewater and grocery, liquor stores 10 min Lunenburg 20 min Mahone Bay 25 min Lighthouse Route runs by front door Antiques all along route Fresh Lobster 10 min You should have your own car, motorcycle or bicycles to get here, as no public transport beyond Bridgewater.
