Beautiful holiday home in historical farmhouse

Hello and welcome to our beautiful old farmhouse!! If you are looking for a retreat from your buisy daily routine you have found just the place! Our carefully restored farmhouse was build in 1856 and is the last remaining building of a tiny rural settlement in the wide plains of Mecklenburg. Our only neighbour lives across a huge field, so you can be sure that peace and tranquility await you here. Take it easy with a good book in a deck chair, pick cherries and plums from our old fruit trees, feed our sheep or listen to the birds. We invite you to to enjoy our garden! There is plenty of room for the kids, you and your dog. Downstairs you will find a seperate entrance and a big living room with a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy fire place. Situated upstairs are a bathroom and a bedroom with a double bed. We can provide a crib and a day bed if need be. If you like golfing you will find that the Winston Golf Course close to Schwerin is one of the best in the country. There is also a riding stable just 4,5 km from our farm in Friedrichsruhe. Being very close to the Mecklenburg Lake Plateau and the Lewitz, a unique protected landscape, you are surrounded by water and nature. Schwerin, the nearby capitol of Mecklenburg, is definitely worth a visit with its romantic castle and if you want to take a day trip to the Baltic Sea you can get there within a 1 hour drive.
