Oppi Plaas: Byekorf (Honeycomb)

Duinekroon is a working farm where the Kleinhans family farms with cattle, sheep and thatch. We are a caring family and share our farm with outdoorsy people. Clean bedding and towels are provided. Please pack your own beach towels. There is a communal laundry room with two washing machines. Every unit has its own barbecue. Don't forget your firewood and braai-grid. This unit uses a gas geyser. Please notify us when the gas is running low. Should load-shedding occur, we provide candles and matchsticks in each. With prior arrangement we are pet-friendly. Cost is R10-00 per pet per night. At all times dogs have to be kept on leashes. Please clean up after your dog-children. Alta Kleinhans and Vanessa are always happy to answer your questions and provide information of the surrounding area. Distance to main beach: 7km Distance to Lapskuit lagoon: 4,5km Distance to Spar centre: 2,5km Horse outrides in the field. Children being guided by a person on horseback. Grooming and Petting of miniature Donkey's and miniature Horses. Carriage drives: The feeling of stepping back a hundred years in time, the romance of being a king and a queen on a carriage, the beauty of enjoying a horse experience without having to actually ride a horse. Every Carriage Ride package includes the horse, carriage and trained driver.
