Luxury forest villa 'the Veenhof'

In the beautiful woody countryside of Holten, between natural area and the Borkeld and National Park 'Sallandse Heuvelrug' is our comfortable, spacious and atmospheric forest villa. A lovely place to walk, cycle and relax! Be amazed by the beautiful view when you wake up: in the forest, among the many birds and squirrels. In the lovely garden surrounding the house the various terraces invite lots of outdoor enjoyment. The house has recently been completely renovated. From a small bungalow to spacious villa with all modern conveniences. A lovely country kitchen, large bathroom with walk-in-shower and heated floors, 2 large bedrooms, living & dining room with patio doors to the terrace. A cozy fireplace for romantic autumn and winter evenings. And for perfect relaxation: the sauna in the garden. The house is ideal for 2 to 4 people. Guests have access to the entire house and garden with ample parking and will enjoy complete privacy. There are no spaces shared. We will give a tour on arrival and are available for questions during the stay. We are not present during the stay. Holten is a cozy village in Overijssel with an attractive center, good restaurants and a wide range of shops. The surroundings are beautiful: wonderful walking, cycling and mountain biking trails on and around the Holterberg, Sallandse Heuvelrug, and natural area the Borkeld. The forest villa is easily accessible: by car because of its convenient location to the A1 and in front of the house there is parking space for two cars. By public transport: shuttle bus from Holten railway station, the bus stop is 5 min walk. Distance to city center: 5 minutes by bike. Distance Holterberg: 10 minutes cycling. There will be three city bikes available. Free WIFI. In one of the bedrooms there is a TV with DVD player. There's also a baby bed, chair & bath available. You can play your own music (ed via ipod) on the music system / blue ray in the living room. There are washer / dryer facilities. In case of bad weather: grab a board game or book off the shelf or browse through many stacks (including travel) magazines.
