Laxforsen - Cabin with own lake and sauna

Laxforsen's lakeside cabin is a residence close to nature. You get the lake for yourself, sauna and one bag of wood, electric raft, rowing boat, BBQ area, deep forests and a large terrace. The place is perfect for weekends with friends or family as well as bachelor/ette parties. The 8 beds are distributed over three lofts which are reached via a ladder. The cabin lies above a steep hill. AGE LIMIT 25 YEARS - children are welcome! Cleaning the cabin is mandatory. The tub is not included. The lake cottage is equipped with kitchen and kitchen equipment, dish washer, dining table for eight people, a sofa, a loft for 3 people, stove and TV. On the terrace outside there are another 15 seats. In the sauna house next door there is a toilet, shower, a changing room and a wood-fired sauna with panoramic windows facing the lake. If you lower the ladder up to the two lofts, there are another 4-5 beds. The sauna house is always included when you rent Sjöstugan. Bed linen and towels are not available on site but are mandatory. In addition to Sjöstugan and the sauna house, you have access to the following: the lake, barbecue area, large terrace with lake views, electric raft, rowing boat, jetty with swimming area and forest and nature. Using the wood-fired tub costs extra. There is access to washer and dryer if needed. You are the only cabin at the lake, but due to Allemansrätten (right of public access) it is possible for other people to walk around the lake and even swim in it, but this is very rare. Laxforsen was originally a fish farm, but has been inactive and family-owned since the early 2000s. Today we focuse on renting out accommodation, there are several different forms of rental and housing, the common denominator is the proximity to nature. You can reach us most easily by car. Anneberg is located 25 km south of Gothenburg and 6 km north of Kungsbacka. From Anneberg station, drive straight east for 6 km. Soon you will see a large sawmill, Derome, on the right. Then it is only 600 meters until you turn left onto the forest road that goes to Laxforsen. After 200 meters on the forest road, Laxforsen's main building is on the right side. Continue up the hill on the left road to reach the lake cottage. Getting to Laxforsen by public transport is possible but not at all times. The commuter train between Gothenburg and Kungsbacka station stops at Anneberg Station, take bus 717 from there to stop "Stenen". Just before disembarking at the stop, the bus will pass Laxforsen's sign on the left. Unusually, our lake and lake house is located above a twenty meter steep hill. When you get to Laxforsen, drive past the main building which is on the right side. Halfway up the hill there are two parking spaces. The last bit of the hill you need to walk. If you need help with a lot of packing or mobility impairmented, a caretaker may be available to drive up with the quad bike.
