Spacious & warm family house on the Golden Circle

My place is located on the route "The Golden Circle" and The Secret Lagoon is only 400 meter/0,25 miles away. Geysir is located only 25 km away and Gullfoss 31 km but it's easier to have private car than to use public transport (buses) The house is located in the country site but in a small village (Flúðir) so you will find there one grocery store, one gas station and two hotels. There are three restaurants in walking distance; (URL HIDDEN) (URL HIDDEN) (URL HIDDEN) 10 km away you will find the next village (Reykholt) and there is also very nice restaurant (URL HIDDEN) There are public swimming pools in every village in the south part of Iceland so both Flúðir and Reykholt has their own. In Flúðir there is also The Secret Lagoon, oldest nature pool in Iceland (URL HIDDEN) Public transport from Reykjavík with bus is a good way to travel, even it takes longer time (2,5 hours) than in a private car; more info on the site (URL HIDDEN) If you would like to arrive on private car the route direct from the KEF airport takes almost 2 hour to drive.
