The charming Casa do Sol lies in the very heart of the village and is the first house to greet the sun as it shines on its intimate balcony with a view over the village’s roofs. It has a welcoming living room on the ground floor, with a sofa bed and armchair by the wood burner, as well as a dining area and a kitchen. On the first floor, you will find a desk, a room with two twin beds, and a bathroom. It is also on this floor that you will find the balcony, ideal for reading, relaxing, or enjoying a glass of wine or a cup of tea. The artistic creations by João Gomes turn the Casa do Sol into the ideal place for daydreaming. Like all the other houses in Cerdeira, the Casa do Sol has been restored using ecological and regional materials and favoring the use of local contractors. All houses have central heating and offer great comfort, both in winter and summer. To guarantee that you make the most out of the village’s quietness, we have chosen not to install TVs or radio in any of the houses.
