Welcome to Cassel ! As a bit of history, Villa Vandamme is the native house of general Vandamme who was one of the leader in Napoleon's campaign across Europe. Today this place offers charm, comfort and originality as the house is built on top a bridge or an arch. This unusual construction offers a magnificient view on the northen coast of France and Belgium. The house is ideally situated on main square. Restaurants, bars, museum, hiking trails are only a few steps away. The accommodation offers a good atmosphere, is of good size, not too small, not to big. The upper floor is dedicated to beds and bath. UK friends, please note I have RMC on TV to follow Premier League as I am a real fan. During your stay, I will not share the place you can freely use the kitchen, the living room, bathroom and bedroom. I am ready to welcome you the same way I was welcome when travelling in the UK, Australia, Germany, US.... This is essential to have a nice time abroad. See you soon then.
