During the reconstruction, we have kept the character of the house and with the design of the outside area set on typical local plants and the traditional stone walls. Nearby is a swimming area. Anglers find a break at the harbor.  In the neighboring village of Bodstedt, the annual Zeesbootregatta takes place in September, during which the view of the Bodstedt Bodden is determined by rust-brown sails. Incidentally, there is also the opportunity to undertake sailing trips on Zeesbooten.  On countless bike trails you can explore the southern Bodden landscape and make acquaintance with the artist village Ahrenshop.
