Sitting majestically on the beautiful banks of the Wenatchee River in Peshastin (5 easy miles from downtown Leavenworth off Highway 2), Cottonwood Shores is sure to become one of your very favorite getaway spots! Formerly a very successful B&B, this beautiful, spacious lodge features six master bedrooms, each with a private bath. Easily accessible to the shops, restaurants and festivals of the Bavarian village, yet tucked away in a peaceful, highly restful setting, Cottonwood Shores has the best of everything. Comfortably accommodating up to 10, this stunning lodge is perfect for a family reunion, a getaway with a group of friends, or a corporate/leadership retreat. With lovely full view windows along the prow of the main level, the absolutely gorgeous view follows a relaxing bend in the calmly flowing river. In the summer, river rafters drift lazily by, and from the huge deck you might spot kayaks in the water, as well as amazing wildlife including river otters, osprey and eagles. The living room is beautifully appointed with leather, wood and natural themes, and features a river rock (propane)fireplace, as well as a unique wagon wheel light fixture that was once an original Roy Roger's Restaurant highlight. The kitchen is large and fully equipped, perfect for meal preparation for your big group, with ample seating for dining, enhanced by the gorgeous river view. On the main floor is the Master Suite-a unique two room suite with a King bed in the bedroom and a connected living room with a TV. The upper floor features 2 suites- the Aspen, and the Alder each having a large private bathroom with walk-in showers and gorgeous vaulted beamed ceilings. The Alder room is equipped with a Queen sofa hide-a-bed. On the lowest level, there are three more suites- the Cedar, the Pine, and the Cottonwood rooms, each with private bath. The Cottonwood is especially large, with a mini-kitchen bar, and sliding glass door for private entrance. The Cottonwood Suite also features a large in-room jacuzzi two-person spa. The lowest level also features a cozy and extremely comfortable family room with an electric ambiance fireplace and a small kitchenette for snacks and drinks, as well as TV. The Alder, Pine and Cottonwood bedroom suites have private televisions as well. A private hot tub (professionally maintained before and after guests arrival) is located on the large deck, overlooking the river- a perfect setting in which to relax! The driveway is heated in the winter, so there's no worry over getting snowed in. Cottonwood Shores is a very special place, and you'll be glad you found this treasure!
