Tiny hotel, directly located at lake Mälar

This little hotel is the perfect location for those who are longing for relaxation and nature. Located in the countryside, with a wonderful view of Lake Mälar, and yet only ca. 45 minutes from Stockholm, Uppsala, Västerås or Arlanda airport. This accommodation is unique in its own way and its direct access to the lake ensures relaxed days by the water, all year round. The house has a size of 45sqm and offers a studio with sofabed, fireplace, small kitchen and sleeping area on the first floor. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, a dishwasher and two cooktops. Additionally there is a bathroom with shower, toilet and separate Finnish sauna with wood stove. Hand and bath towels as well as bathrobes are included. The generous terrace, the garden and a Weber BBQ can be used as well. Wifi and free parking is included in the price. There is a common bridge and small beach. We live next door so you can let us know in case of questions. We are happy to to give recommendations about where to go, what to do or where to eat. We speak English, German and Swedish. Ekolsund is a lovely, small village in the countryside. The private beach makes sure you have relaxed days next to the water - summer as winter. Hjälstaviken nature reserve is located ca. 5 km away, a paradise for birdwatchers and hikers. The two small towns Bålsta and Enköping are ca. 20 minutes away by car and offer shops and restaurants. In the near area (called Fjärdhundraland) are many nice, small cafés and boutiques, numerous runestones and medieval churches, fantastic local producers and nature highlights. Best reached by car. Arrival possibilities by public transport are limited, therefore do we recommend to arrive by (rental) car. There are free parkings spots available on spot.
