Enjoy nature at its best whilst lounging in this newly renovated luxury mountain studio. Modern interiors and open plan design makes for an enjoyable stay. Very private and in nature. Walking trails on the farm and picnics in the forest is how you can spend your days or soaking up the sun on the terrace. Situated on a working farm in the hermitage valley, one of the oldest agricultural valleys, you can enjoy nature in all its splendor. Only 5km from the town center you are free to swim in natural mountain water dams, walk in the forest, mountain bike and hike. Beautiful surroundings with various bird species and wildlife such as baboons and the mountain leopard. Guests can enjoy our open dams for swimming which contains clean mountain water. The are also rock pools in the mountain that can be accessed with a short hike. An additional permit is needed to enter the nature reserve bordering the property. Your host will kindly arrange a permit for you should you request one. The property is located on a working farm and guest have access to wander about the farm. Please feel free to contact me with any request or query to make your stay perfect! A permit is available at additional cost if you would like to hike up the mountain in the nature reserve bordering our property. It is a very safe environment and situated on the farm there is some wildlife roaming around such as baboons, small antelope and mountain leopard. If you go out to walk about please keep your doors and window of the cottage locked because the baboons can be curious and naughty!! The selection of fauna and flora to be discovered is very special and exciting.
