The house is located on the premises of a hotel, with a restaurant (breakfast, lunch or supper available at additional cost), bar and swimming pool (available to guests). 24 hour premises security. Ideal for travellers needing a place to stay for anything from one night to weeks. This house is equipped with an indoor and outdoor braai, ideal for families with children or guests requiring secure parking. Access to swimming pool, restaurant and bar at the hotel situated on the premises. Any special requests can be communicated with me. I will gladly book you a table at the restaurant (on the premises) if you prefer not preparing your own meals. Wood, ice, wine and bottled water is available from the hotel next door. Situated in the historic mining town of O'okiep, known for its rich copper-deposits, mined early in the 19th century. This rural town is popular amongst travellers with an interest in history or travellers needing a stop-over between Namibia and Cape Town. Feel free to visit the curio shop at the Okiep Country Hotel. The shop sells products from local entrepreneurs. The Namaqualand mining museum is also situated on the property. Make sure to ask the receptionist at the hotel about this. Meals are available at the restaurant of the hotel (at additional cost to guests).
