Freshly painted and decorated, Don and Laura are committed to offering an unforgettable stay with lasting memories. This cozy addition attached to our home is very clean, safe and quiet. We are certified in Airbnb’s 5 step cleaning process and sterilize the apartment before you arrive. We require a 24 hour window before and after each guest to allow time for the room to air out. We provide clean pima cotton sheets on a comfortable pillow top mattress. All linens, blankets and comforters are sterilized in hot water for every guest. Plush towels, paper products and cleaning supplies are provided. We believe in social distancing and offer contactless self check in/out. The keys in the lockbox are sterilized for you to enter into a private locked entrance that opens into a hallway. Down the hallway is a small work room on the left, a private bathroom on the right, and straight ahead a great room with a cathedral ceiling, an oversized double window and breathtaking views of the woods. The room invites privacy, peace and serenity. You are guaranteed isolation and freedom from neighbors. The left side of the great room is the sleeping quarters with a queen size bed with a pillow top mattress. There is a 42 inch flat screen TV with FREE Xfinity cable and FREE Wi-Fi. All bed linens are provided. There is a sitting chair at the end of the bed as well as a small infrared fireplace heater. In addition, there is oil, base board heat with a separate thermostat. Air conditioning is provided seasonally. The room is enhanced with deep shag carpets that add comfort under your feet. Looping over to the right side of the great room is a leather recliner chair and sofa with recliners on each end for your comfort and enjoyment. There is a handcrafted bookshelf stocked with books for your reading pleasure. The room has six windows with picturesque views with darkening curtains for your privacy. There is a smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector for your safety. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, sink and oversized walk in shower. Shampoo, cream rinse and body wash are provided. There is a hair dryer and first aid kit on site. Towels, toilet paper, Kleenex, hand soap and cleaning supplies are provided. There is no full kitchen, however, the separate kitchenette/work room comes equipped with a kitchen table, 2 ladder back chairs, a microwave, single k-cup brewer and an apartment sized refrigerator with a vegetable bin and half-width freezer compartment. This room is stocked with coffee/teacups, k-cup pods, teas, water, sugar, coffeemate, paper towels, paper plates, napkins and disposable silverware. There is a fire extinguisher for your safety. Cleaning supplies are included with your stay. Nestled in the mountains of southern New Hampshire, our home is the perfect quiet place for your secluded stay. Our home is meant to be lived in. There is so much to offer: hiking, fishing, canoeing, swimming, picnicking, walking, skiing and snow boarding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, skating, sledding, shopping and most of all, just relaxing! Pets are not allowed. There is no smoking allowed inside our property. The apartment is freshly decorated and not child proof. Therefore, children under 15 are not allowed. Maximum capacity is 2 people; a twin air mattress with bedding and linens is available upon request. No parties or unregistered guests are allowed. You must be 21 years or older to stay with us. We believe in social distancing and offer contactless self check in / checkout. Sterilized keys are located in a lockbox attached to the main entrance. Guests enter the apartment via a locked door that gives full access to the private spacious addition attached to our home. Guests are not permitted to enter the main house. Don and Laura live on site in the main house and are available by Airbnb communication. Guests are not allowed in the main house due to social distancing. Located in the woods, we are centrally located between our 3 main cities: Concord, Manchester and Keene. We are just 20 minutes to town. We are surrounded by several lakes: Horace Lake, Deering Reservoir and Lake Sunapee for swimming, fishing, and canoeing. There is an abundance of picturesque walking and hiking trails. Nearby New Hampshire Audubon offers beautiful hiking trails. Deering Wildlife Sanctuary is minutes away. NH International Speedway is just North of us; come see Nascar, auto racing and motor cycle racing. Please check ahead prior to your stay to determine what activities are open and available. We are minutes away from Pat's Peak and Crotched Mountain ski areas for weddings, skiing, snowboarding and tubing. Mount Sunapee is also a short drive from Deering. New England college is just down the road in beautiful Henniker. Quaint, historic Peterborough is another must-see town. We are within driving distance to tax free shopping at malls and outlets. We are a short 75 minutes to the seacoast. Next door local towns include Weare, Hillsboro, New Boston, Goffstown and Henniker. We are centrally located between Concord, Manchester and Keene. Our immediate area is rural, picturesque and quiet. We are surrounded by mountains, lakes and hiking trails. However, you can easily get to restaurants and shops within 20 - 30 minutes. Some of the quaint towns to visit are Peterborough, Milford and Portsmouth. We require our guests to be over 21 years old. Guests are given the passcode for the key lockbox prior to arrival and the reservation is confirmed. Upon arrival, guests will find the key lock box affixed to the entrance door above the door handle. The sterilized keys to the dead bolt lock and the entrance to the apartment are in the lock box. When guests enter the foyer, the entrance to the apartment is on the left. Guests are required to lock both the apartment door and the entrance door and leave the keys in the key lockbox when they leave the apartment and when they check out.
