It is approx 45 minutes south of Alicante airport, 10 minutes south of Torrevieja and 45 minutes from Murcia International Airport. It is an ideal location for a sun holiday, whatever the time of year, as it has an average of 320 days of sun per year! Within walking distance of the villa are all the standard local amenities such as supermarket, doctors, banks and chemists. A car is not necessary as all the facilities and beach, are within easy walking distance, and if you do feel like trekking further a field the local bus runs every 30 minutes to Torrevieja, where there is a daily market. There is also an evening market on a Tuesday in Mil Palmeras where you can buy fruit, vegetables and cooked chicken at very reasonable prices. If you fancy a meal out, there are two squares, again within easy walking distance, where the majority of the restaurants and bars are situated. Food includes Spanish, English, German, Chinese Italian.
