A very nicely converted traditional stone building which was originally a cattle shed. It is situated at the rear of 10 Charlotte Street, (Entrance to the Flats is from Back Road). The location means that while it is central, it is also away from the main road and is quiet. It is minutes walk from the shops, Hotel, Bistro, The 3 Distilleries Path and bus stop. A perfect location to be based while exploring Islay. Perfect for friends who wish to explore Port Ellen and the Distilleries via the 3 Mile Distillery Path. Two minutes walk from both the Islay Hotel / Restaurant, Seasalt Bistro, The Ardview Inn and No.1 Charlotte Street Hotel. Three minutes walk from the Co-op Supermarket. The bus stop is on Charlotte Street. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the wooden shed beside the flats. Also an ironing board and iron. A washing line for drying clothes is also beside the shed. It is a self-check-in but I or John are available should you need us for anything. Our contact details are in the information folder in the flat. Port Ellen is a small village so it is easy to find the Islay Hotel, Seasalt Bistro, Ardview Inn, No.1 Charlotte Street Hotel, Co-op Supermarket. Spar Shop and Post Office. The Distilleries are well sign posted. The 3-mile distillery path is lovely for walkers and cyclists. There is a bus service, several taxi services and bike hire in Port Ellen.
