Orani

Situated in Tikioki (between Muri and Titikaveka) on the South East side of the island, Orani is ideal for a family needing access to a great beach (across the road) with an ample yard for the kids and miles of shady verandah. Within walking distance The house is fully screened to keep the mozzies at bay and sliding doors from both bedrooms and living area open out onto the wrap around covered deck. From the deck loungers, the world floats by in the lagoon across the road... less than 20 metres away. The bedrooms consist of one queen-size bed and in the second bedroom two single beds, ideal for a small family of four. The whole house is also security screened and louvred allowing the tropical breeze to flow through the house. Pedestal fans thru the home are also provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible. In the spacious lounge are two very comfortable sofas and dining area with small dining table. The kitchen has a full oven/stove (gas) and a full size fridge/freezer. All linen and towels are provided but if you have a favourite beach towel then bring it along. Orani offers excellent value, and is priced to ensure a busy year full of happy travellers. Everywhere Im available just call or txt + (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Turn right and a short walk will bring you to a spot called 'Fruits of Rarotonga' reputedly the best snorkelling on the island and also a great place to have lunch at the little café serving muffins, toasties, and smoothies. Turn left onto the main road and not far away is the Sailing Club where you can hire kayaks, windsurfers and snorkelling equipment and where restaurants and small stores are also located. There a buses that pass on the main road, clockwise and anticlockwise every hour I am happy to arrange and would recommend transfers to and from the home, they're NZ$ (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) return or NZ$20.00 one way for adults and NZ$20.00 return or NZ$10.00 one way for kids under 12. There are not a lot of street names or signage or road lighting here in Rarotonga, and (Hidden by Airbnb) maps doesnt work well here, people often struggle to find the home. Just let me know and I can adjust the price after confirmation. The house has a BlueSky Hotspot, to access it you need to open your browser, it will default to the Cook Islands BlueSky page, in the lower left corner, you’re able to by a data package (they’ll send you a username and password).
