"Chez Charles"
THE WHOLE HOUSE , THE COURTYARD AND THE GARDEN TO YOU ALONE ! Beautiful farm in a small town by the forest. Calm and idyllic and still only 15 min away from Haguenau and 40 min from Strasburg. Closed courtyard, orchard and yard. The bikeway from the Rhine to the castles of the northern Vosges passes right in front of the house. Even the pilgrim road to Santiago de Compostella (2400 km) passes right by here. This is an ideal starting point for many lovely biking tours. The house has a big living room, with separated bedroom part, a kitchen with table, a dining room, a children’s bedroom, a bedrom with 3 beds and an entrance room. The child’s bedroom is enquired with superposed bed, a baby bad, as well as accessories to it. In the courtyard you can sit comfortably and even BBQ. Baguette and croissant are delivered fresh every day by the Baguette-Box. It is possible to bring a horse / horses and dogs (5.-€/night) are also welcome guests. The attic (unused anyway) and the cellar are not part of the leased room. The farm and the other outer buildings can be visited, but we ask for you not to touch, derange or climb anything. For the kids: looking works best with the eyes :) Our house is only 3 minutes away per bike and 1 per car. We are always happy to help you with the planning of your excursions. We live in the middle of fields and forests but still close to the city. Directly at the house is an Baguette-Box for the daily frech bred. Bakery and supermarket can be found in the next little town (env. 1,5 km) The house is equipped with bed linen and towels. Your laundry can be washed by me for 5 € per machine. There is a Senseo coffee machine as well as a dishwasher and oven to your disposition. The final cleaning costs 60 €. I am happy to answer any other questions per mail.
