Enjoy an authentic and clean apartment in Pitesti, relaxing, bright and spacious room with air conditioning. Pitesti also called tulips town, it hosts a Tulip festival usually in mid of April each year. The apartment is on the 4th floor. The only access is through the stairs - there is no elevator in the building. The room has a double bed for 2 persons, a chair and a nightstand. - private room with lock on door in shared apartment ( 1 room on Airbnb + 1 rooms for me ) The guests will have access to: - free Wi-fi / internet - kitchen - 1 bathroom with toilet, sink, bathtub and two towels. - living room - air conditioning - washing machine The kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker, refrigerator, a table and some plates. I often go out together with my guests to dinner or to my favorite, secret spots in Pitești. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The area has great access to transportation-bus station and taxi, supermarkets, drugstores, banks, churches. It also has several stores opened all hours. You can try shaorma at Iraqi - the fast-food is in front of my building and is very popular in the city or you can walk down the street for 5 minutes to eat a traditional meal at La Tuciuri restaurant, a nice and clean restaurant with romanian food. The city is good for planning trips to many Romanian famous attractions: Golesti museum, Vidraru lake, Poenari fortress, Curtea de Arges monastery, Transfagarasan road, Ice hotel Balea in winter, Fagaras mountains, Bran (Dracula) castle, Sinaia, Peles castle, Bucharest, Sibiu or Valea Zânelor castle. I recommend you to exchange money only at the bank. To travel to my place by public transportation, the best would be to: - Travelling from Bucharest Airport - 1) Take the bus 780 from the airport to Gara de Nord, which is the main train station in Bucharest. You will have to buy a magnetic card and charge it with 7 RON/lei, the equivalent for 2 trips. This bus comes each 40 minutes. 2) Take the train CFR Bucuresti to Pitesti from Gara de Nord. The price for a 2nd class one way ticket is 35 lei/ person. The trip to Pitesti will last 2 hours.
