This former trackman’s cottage on the French Meuse railroad between Sedan and Verdun that is no longer in use, is available for holidays. It has been renovated and extended with a spacious kitchen-living room with French windows opening out onto the terrace and garden. The terrace is furnished with garden furniture and a barbecue/fireplace. The cottage is fully furnished for 4 to a maximum of 6 persons. This former trackman’s cottage on the French Meuse railroad between Sedan and Verdun that is no longer in use, is available for holidays. It has been renovated and extended with a spacious kitchen-living room with French windows opening out onto the terrace and garden. Upstairs are two double bedrooms and an attic bedroom. Shower and toilet are available on the ground floor and on the first floor. The entire cottage can be heated by means of electric (underfloor) heating and has wood-burning stoves in kitchen and livingroom. The wood-burning stove in the kitchen doubles as an open fireplace. The terrace is furnished with garden furniture and a barbecue/fireplace. The cottage has satellite television with Dutch channels. Currently there is no Wifi, but you are free to use the Wifi in my building at 150 m distance. (see my other advertisement) The cottage is fully furnished for 4 to 6 persons. Bed and kitchen linen are included. Please bring your own towels. We like to keep the cottage non-smoking and pets are not allowed. Rental costs for the cottage are €485,- per week / €275,= for a weekend (2 nights), gas, electricity, firewood included. The village, which is at walking distance (2 km) has a café and restaurant. Bakeries are within 5 km distance. The river the Meuse, within walking distance, is a beautiful spot to go swimming and canoeing. The hilly surroundings are perfect for bicycling and walking. Verdun, a historical town, is at 20 km distance. The entire house and its garden are at your disposal. We respect our guests privacy, but are available for questions The historic town Verdun is nearby and the Meuse river is at walking distance, you can rent canoes nearby or go for a swim in the river The best way to travel to this area is by car. Once here, it is beautiful to cycle around the hilly countryside. The terrace is furnished with garden furniture and a barbecue/fireplace.
