Country house with covered terrace near to Hollókő
Our guesthouse is located in Nagylóc, among the gentle hills of Cserhát, in a quiet street, from where the hiking trails are as easily accessible as the best ski slopes in Hungary. The old village of Hollókő is just 10 mins drive and its officially protected as a World Heritage Site. The palóc house was fully renovated two decades ago, the roof was replaced and a large covered terrace was created, where you can sit pleasantly even in rainy weather. On the street front you will find a cozy living room with a comfortable sofa bed, a TV and a large corner dining table - but if you feel like cooking, there is also a small but well-equipped kitchen. From the kitchen opens the tiny bathroom with shower and toilet, which has recently been completely renovated. At the other end of the house is the bedroom, where two hand-carved single beds, children's toys and books await the comfort of the guests. The terrace is covered, so you can use it for barbecue or dining even in the moody weather. The 600 sqm, fully fenced garden has plenty of space for puppies to run around, and you will find a fireplace too what you can use for outdoor cooking. The price includes towels and bed linen, exclusive use of the house and garden, free parking, free Wi-Fi and the final cleaning. Kittens, puppies, up to two, small or medium-sized, can be brought by prior arrangement, for a small cleaning fee of 1000 HUF / night but up to 3000 HUF / stay. You can park in the yard or on the street in front of the house. Nagylóc is a village located in the middle of Nógrád county, along the road between Pásztó and Szécsény, connecting the main roads 21 and 22, next to the Lóci stream, under the peak of Cserhát Őrhegy, in a picturesque environment. The countryside is rich in natural values and ethnographic traditions. It is next to the World Heritage village of Hollókő and 100 km from Budapest. The environment of the settlement is a typical hilly, mountainous, forested landscape of Central Nógrád. The approximately 1,000 hectares of forest surrounding the village, which is part of the Eastern Cserhát Landscape Protection Area, is a large game area with excellent hunting opportunities. The fact that there are no major industrial plants in this landscape helps to protect natural values. The air in the area is clean and healthy, the countryside is excellent for cycling and medical tourism, and the environment is untouched.
