Characterful cottage near stunning coast

Our place is close to lovely hidden coves, white sandy beaches, wild moorland and coastpaths, & the Minack Theatre. It's a fabulous location; lovely wide rural aspect with sea views from upstairs, 20 minutes walk down a grassy track to the most stunning coast. The house is colourful, retro-style, cosy and very easy to relax in, with lots of DVDs, books and games for if the weather is bad, and a woodburner to snuggle up by in the winter - plus firepit in the garden & star-gazing when fine. You have full use of this 2 bedroom artist's house, with one large kingsize bedroom and a smaller twin. It's very well-equipped for self-catering in the colourful kitchen-diner and has a lovely private, sheltered lawned garden and patio. Although the house is our home for over half the year, it is totally de-cluttered by the time you come, & exclusively for your use during your stay. We stay next door, and you can text or call if you need us. Stunning surroundings.....close to gorgeous coves & beaches and magnificent coastal and moorland walks. Largely unspoilt by tourism.....a real gem all year round! Great for nature lovers; wild flowers at their best May & June, often seals to swim with in Porthgwarra Cove, migrating birds in spring and autumn, wonderful surfing 10 minute's drive away at Sennen & Gwenver, lots of ancient sites to explore, art and craft galleries, & fabulous local produce at Sennen & St Buryan farmers market & roadside stalls. 7 minute's walk to bus stop (Polgigga on the Penzance to lands End route, A1 bus...check out First bus timetables online) with bus link to Penzance station. For those coming by car there is plenty of parking on site. Please be aware that there are lots of narrow lanes with high stone hedges, and if you are not confident at reversing let us know & we'll tell you which roads to avoid! Most of the main beaches charge a lot for parking but we can tell you the nearest free spots if you ask (although it's lovely to just walk to the 4 beaches that are all less than 40 minute's walk from us) Please note that Friday is our main changeover day, with shorter stays possible outside of the busiest months by arriving or leaving on a Monday.
