A lovely property, annexed to the owners’ home and set all of the ground floor, situated in the village of Brayton, near Selby, and sleeping two people in one bedroom. Brayton Retreat is a lovely pet-friendly ground floor property, attached to the owner’s home, in the village of Brayton, close to the market town of Selby. It sleeps two people in one twin bedroom and there is also a shower room, a kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area and a gas fire. Outside there is a shared lawned garden with decking and furniture, as well as off road parking for one car. The village of Brayton offers a selection of local shops, whilst Selby boasts lots of restaurants and magnificent medieval cathedral. With York less than an hour away and plenty of fresh Yorkshire produce waiting to be sampled, Brayton Retreat is a great base for a getaway at any time of year. Town: The small and pretty village of Brayton is an ancient parish, dating back to Saxon times and mentioned in the Domesday Book. There is a selection of local shops, a butcher and a delightful village green, as well as a Norman church and a Methodist chapel dating back to the 1800s.
