Globe Garden Retreat

Welcome to your new favorite garden retreat at a location that welcomes people of all persuasions. Located in historic Globe, your guesthouse is surrounded by gardens where you can fall asleep to the sound of the waterfall and awaken to a chorus sung by a variety of birds. Your retreat offers water features, native stone patios, multiple seating areas, a gas BBQ, and a 45' bocce court. Tiny house (9’x13’) with 3 twin beds, sink, chair, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and propane fireplace. The bathroom is in the main house, about 20' from the guesthouse and up 4 steps, as is the washer & dryer, guest microwave and mini-refrigerator, and coffee set-up. In main house: bathroom, washer and dryer, microwave and mini refrigerator, and coffee set-up. In gardens: seating and eating areas, bocce court, water features, and BBQ. On street parking in front of host house. Smaller parties can be hosted with prior approval of host. Host available as needed and excellent source of local info on eateries, shopping, hiking, and local not-to-be-missed attractions. The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood about 1/2 mile from historic downtown Globe where you will find restaurants, boutiques, a movie theater and market. Come delve into Old West history, shop, and explore the natural beauty of our high desert, mountains, rivers, and lakes. Easy walk or bike to most locations. Lots of free, public parking throughout town. Guest parking at the house is on the street immediately adjacent to the property. Because of the prominent water features, this house is not appropriate for toddlers or small children. Children 5-years-old and up are welcome if they can safely navigate around the water features. If you are visiting with 3 people, the third bed is a top bunk accessible by ladder with a VERY firm mattress. Additionally, there is no smoking anywhere on the property and, depending on local fire restrictions, exterior fires may be restricted in fireplace and fire pit.
