Located directly on Walnut Beach in Milford, this cozy beach house provides you 1,735 square feet of waterfront bliss. The home retains the unique beauty and cozy old-world feel of the original post and beam construction while providing you with the comfort of central air conditioning, a modern kitchen, modern bathrooms, and a stackable washer and dryer. The rear patio overlooks Long Island Sound and is expansive. It is outfitted with a large table and plenty of seating for you to enjoy a meal, soak up the sun, go kayaking, swimming, fishing, or read a good book in the summer or enjoy good conversation and cocktails by the fire pit in the winter. You also have private stairs from the patio to the beach. The last step's height varies with the amount of sand the tides pull out or push into the sea wall. If you are not comfortable with stairs there is also access to the beach 1/2 block away in either direction. Note: The rear patio is directly on the water. There is no railing on the sea wall (water-side) of the patio. The drop during high tide is approximately 3 feet to the water. The drop during low tide is approximately 6 feet to the beach. Children should not be on the patio unsupervised.
