The J’s Butchers Shop

The J’s is a characterful property which used to be a butchers shop to supply the village of Gumley. The property is ideally situated within walking distance of Foxton Locks and The Bell public house which is only two doors away from the house. The accommodation is part of the whole house which is self contained with its own kitchen, lounge, downstairs toilet, hallway, two double bedrooms and large private bathroom with shower and roll top bath which serves both bedrooms. WiFi is included. The J’s is cosy and quiet with outdoor seating available on request. There is a little private garden where you can enjoy your own space if you wish. There is a fully equipped kitchen with Continental breakfast and a welcome pack for you to use as you wish. As the accommodation adjoins the main house, Sarah is always available to chat to if she can help with any of your queries. Her family Riding School is in the adjoining village of Saddington if you fancy a riding lesson with Emma or one of her team! Gumley is located within the Leicestershire countryside which offers a wide variety of sights and walks. It is popular for it’s walking routes and pubs, as well as being around the Fernie Hunt, a great experience when watching them! As well as that, Foxton Locks is only a field walk away that offers beautiful scenery as well as there being a restaurant on the waterside. The lovely town of Market Harborough is only a 15 minute drive away where there are many shops as well as some traditional features. The best way to travel is by car, bike or walking as where ever you go, there are plenty of views!
