New for the 2022 season is the installation of a solar system and air conditioning. The property is 600 square feet of indoor living space and an additional 450 feet of deck/outdoor living space. There is a full kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher) and full bathroom with tub. The kitchen and living rooms offer gorgeous water views. The coastal cottage decor includes grey barn board style flooring, sliding barn doors to bedrooms and bathroom, and classic grey and white tones. New in 2022 this cottage will be completely powered by solar creating 99-109% of it’s energy needs from the sun! Also in 2022 the installation of an electing forced air heating and cooling system. Montague offers a beautiful water front and marina, river cruises, boat and deep see fishing tours, microbreweries, restaurants/pubs, artisans shops/art gallery, museum, nature/walking/cycling trails, and all necessary amenities (groceries, liquor store, clothing, fast food chains, hardware etc.). The town hosts weekly outdoor concerts and various outdoor festivals including Canada Day celebrations, Montague Days, and Diverse-city Multicultural Festival. Championship golf courses (Links at Crowbush, Dundarave, Brudenell River) are a 15-25 drive. Panmure Island Provincial Park (public beach and light house), Brudenell Provincial Park (horse back riding, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding), and Wineries (Newman Estates, Rossignol Winery) are all less than a 20 minute drive. Guest are also a short 45 min drive to the city of Charlottetown and 75 min from Cavendish Beach.
