Lake Huron waterfront home which is the perfect place for your family vacation. Our house is NOT to be used for parties! It is in an area of private homes and our neighbors enjoy the quiet surrounding area. Located in Greenbush which is between Oscoda and Harrisville. Enjoy walks on the sugar sand beach. View freighters, sailboats and the vast beautiful lake. We have Kayaks available for your use. The Ausable river is about 10 miles away. It offers excellent opportunities for canoeing and tubing Located between Oscoda and Harrisville on U.S. 23. Our home is on beautiful Lake Huron. With the exception of fireworks around the 4th of July this is a fairly quiet area of single family homes and cottages. There are no resorts in the immediate area. Plenty of space for your family. The kitchen is spacious and fully stocked. It has plenty of counter space. We have 3 bedrooms. Two downstairs and one upstairs. The upstairs bedroom is open to the stairway (no door) so it is not suitable for small children. The staircase is narrow and steep. There are 2 bathrooms. One has a shower/tub. The second has a stall shower. There is a living dining area off the kitchen. The attached 3 season porch faces the lake and is a nice additional space for gathering and dining. There is a gas grill-natural gas We have two kayaks that you can use. Bring your life jacket to ensure the best fit. In the evening you can enjoy a beach fire. Bring your mask and snorkel to see the fish. Smallmouth catch and release on the river is Awesome in the summertime. The best way to get around is by car. Fish and Golf Oscoda in the summer. Start a new fall tradition hunting in the Huron National Forest. Cross country ski the beach or trails of the forests in the winter. Be sure to check out Tuttle Marsh and the overlook on the Ausable River. We are about a half hour from Tawas and 45 minutes from Alpena.
