Awaken to the soothing sounds of the ocean. Start your day with a gentle walk or energizing run along the quiet beach, or take a refreshing plunge in the Atlantic Ocean. Drink your cup of tea from the bench or table watching the dolphins. Spend lazy days in this beachfront home reading in the hammock . And end your days with sundowners viewing the spectacularly vibrant sunsets. The simplicity of Nirvana and its proximity to the sea will relax and rejuvenate mind and body. An open plan kitchen and living area create a wonderfully simple and casual environment - the indoor/outdoor flow ensures a warm connected atmosphere. Three of the four bedrooms are located upstairs with spectacular ocean views. This beach cottage is the perfect getaway. The house is rented out as the whole house. I live in Cape Town and am available on my cell phone to answer any questions Britannia Bay is located along the West Coast, and hour and a half drive from Cape Town. Stop along the way at the West Coast National Park to admire the indiginous flowers and marvel at the Fossil Park. Indulge in some winetasting in Darling or spoil yourself with treats from the farmstalls along the route. The nearby quaint fishing village of Paternoster has some highly rated restaurants namely Gaaitjie, Wolfgat and The Noisy Oyster and if you fancy oysters with your sundowners, take a drive to Saldanha Bay for fresh seafood. TheVredenberg Mall en route to BB caters for anything you may have left behind and the well stocked Spar and Tops in St Helena Bay are perfect for your daily needs. Other attractions are: Whale & Dolphin Watching during season (May to Dec) Walking on the 4.5km Golden Mile Beach Jogging Trails within the Shelley Point Estate Mountain biking in Paternoster Reserve Surfing at Heaven, Hell & Pastures Fresh Snoek bought straight off the boats at St Helena Bay Harbour Langebaan Lagoon - host to over 250 bird species (30 min drive) Once there, no need to get in your car! Ample parking in front of the house.
